The terms that govern access to Fern Meteor information, product enquiries, purchases, delivery, and support.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, contacting Fern Meteor, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are acting for a company, household, or property group, you confirm that you have authority to accept them on that party’s behalf.
2. Our role and product information
Fern Meteor supplies electric grass trimmers, submersible pumps, batteries, and garden power tools. Specifications, availability, photographs, colours, and packaging may change as manufacturers update products; the description confirmed in your order governs the transaction.
3. Suitable use of equipment
Use each tool only for its intended garden or workshop purpose, within the operating limits in its manual. You are responsible for checking power supply, extension leads, water depth, protective equipment, and local safety requirements before operation.
4. Prohibited website use
You must not interfere with the site, probe its security, introduce malicious code, scrape catalogue content at scale, impersonate another person, or use our information to mislead customers. We may suspend access where misuse threatens the service or other users.
5. Prices and taxes
Prices shown on the site are in Japanese yen and include consumption tax unless stated otherwise. Delivery, installation, accessories, or special handling may carry separate charges; the total shown or confirmed before acceptance is the amount due.
6. Orders and acceptance
An enquiry is not an accepted order. We accept an order when we confirm availability, price, delivery details, and payment or invoice arrangements. We may decline or correct an order affected by an obvious pricing, stock, address, or specification error.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using the method and schedule stated in the order confirmation. If payment is delayed, we may pause shipment or support until the outstanding amount is resolved, while preserving any rights available under applicable law.
8. Delivery and inspection
We arrange delivery to the address you provide and will communicate expected timing when the shipment is booked. Please inspect the package promptly and report visible damage, missing components, or an incorrect model so we can coordinate a remedy with the carrier or supplier.
9. Returns and cancellations
Return eligibility depends on the product condition, reason for return, and applicable consumer law. Contact us before sending anything back; unauthorised or incomplete returns may delay resolution. Custom, used, damaged, or installed items may have different requirements.
10. Warranty and service
Our standard warranty is 24 months for eligible products, subject to the product terms and proof of purchase. Warranty service does not cover misuse, unauthorised modification, ordinary wear, consumables, blocked pumps, damaged cables, or failure to follow the operating manual.
11. Intellectual property
Fern Meteor names, marks, text, photography, product layouts, and original illustrations belong to Fern Meteor or their respective rights holders. You may view and print pages for personal or internal purchasing use, but may not reproduce or republish them commercially without written permission.
12. Third-party services and links
Payment, delivery, hosting, mapping, or other services may be provided by independent companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, although we take reasonable care when selecting suppliers involved in an order.
13. Disclaimers
The website is provided for general product and service information. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every page will be error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fern Meteor is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or consequential damage arising from use of the site or a product. This limitation does not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or non-excludable consumer rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. We encourage you to contact us first so we can understand and resolve a concern. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Tokyo will hear it unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
